Dear Parishioners,
St. Vincent de Paul Parish has the priviledge of serving more than one hundred and fifty square miles on Hamilton Township, Estelle Manor, Dorothy and Weymount Townships. We have a deep, rich history that spans over a century. We have been blessed many times over and celebrate to this day the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are on the brink of beginning construction on our new church at the site of Holy Cross Cemetery on Route 40. We have been successful in raising in excess of $1,800,000.00 toward the cost of this new building which will house our Church (worship site) and our parish offices and meeting rooms and food pantry. Your support is very important to this parish; and your time, talent and treasure allow us to offer the many programs that help guide us int eh ways of our faith.
We want Jesus to be seen and experienced in us. We change so we can become more closely and more deeply unified to Jesus and His mission. It has been and continues to be the Bishop's heartfelt desire that we as Church recover and reclaim what the Lord has invited us to be and to do.
We will continue to Build Our Vision for The Future with a larger community. This is a challenge for all of us, to strengthen the faith of the future, to give our children a better understanding of the faith we profess and to share the hospitality the Gospel offers us. I believe that our community will flurish and become that dynamic, vibrant, alive community of which the Bishop speaks. Let us throw out our nets and pick up our cross and follow Him.
I thank you for your prayers and support during this exciting and changing time in our lives. God bless each of you and your families.
